LYT Bottles and CrazyCap Pro (aka CrazyCap 2 and CrazyCap) are essentially the same product, from a technology perspective, but with a few cosmetic changes and price variations.

Mellow, on the other hand, is a finished product style of the bottle for the CrazyCap line.
The CrazyCap comes in three finish variations of stainless steel bottles, namely Solids, Patterns, and Mellow. Mellow is texturized and comes in different colors.
The nine mellow, or pastel, shades are made with ultra-soft, easy-grip coating. It's a super-smooth surface that's sweatproof, scratch-resistant, and easy to clean.
The dimensions of the 350 ml bottle is 2.8Lx2.8Wx8.75H; 500 ml is 2.8Lx2.8Wx11H; 740 ml is 3Lx3Wx12H (inches).
Yes, the LYT Bottle Cap will also fit your CrazyCap Pro bottle.
No, the LYT plastic bottle is not insulated, and therefore, does not keep water cold or maintain the temperature of water.
CrazyCap Pro - How it Works
The deep UV-C LED destroys the nucleic acid within the DNA of micro-organisms.
We have compressed this UV technology into our bottle caps. The wavelength and power of the UV-C LED in your cap is set to a certain value to make sure we achieve maximum sterilisation.
When the deep UV light activates in auto-clean mode, it shines the interior surface of the bottle to destroy mold, bacteria, viruses, and pathogens.
Due to this process, your bottle will never smell moldy, so you never have to worry about keeping your bottle clean.
Normal Mode is activated by tapping the touch sensor on the cap twice (UV is activated for 60 seconds).

Charging your CrazyCap Pro is very easy. A port-less USB charging cable is included with your CrazyCap Pro.
Simply place the charger on top of the cap, and it will fully charge in 4 hours or less.
Tap the touch sensor once. The light ring will illuminate 1 of 3 colors:
Green light indicates >50% battery life
Orange light indicates 25%-49% battery life
Red light indicates <25% battery life
CrazyCap Pro is expected to last a week on a full charge with 5 Normal Mode uses daily (up to 7 days).
A full charge is indicated when the light on the cap turns green after charging, and no charge is indicated when the cap stops responding to the touch and doesn’t show a light color.
There is no ‘on’ or ‘off’ button on the cap.
The self-clean mode is automatic and cannot be turned off.
Step 1) Empty the contents of your bottle completely.
Step 2) Screw the CrazyCap Pro on to the bottle and treat the bottle two times in Crazy Mode (5 taps on the touchpad activates Crazy Mode)
Step 3) After two treatments, the odor should be eliminated significantly. If not, try Crazy Mode one more time.
Odor removal depends on how dirty the bottle was before the treatment. Note: CrazyCap Pro's deep UV can only eliminate odor due to mold, bacteria, fungi, algae, etc., but not due to perishable contents used in the bottle.
Once it is thoroughly treated, the bottle can be maintained odor-free with CrazyCap Pro's automatic self-cleaning mode (activates every 4 hours for 20 seconds). To ensure your bottle surface is completely sterilised, perform sterilisation on your empty bottle twice a day.
The Technology
On-demand purification purifies your water when you need it.
Simply tap the touch sensor twice to activate Normal Mode (one-minute sterilisation).
Tap the touch sensor five times to activate Crazy Mode (two-minute sterilization).
Shining CrazyCap’s UV light on any non-porous surface can eliminate up to 99% of germs.
You can expose up to 100 square inches of the surface during Crazy Mode (two-minute duration).
The most effective distance for exposure to the surface is 4 inches.
When the deep UV light activates in auto-clean mode, it shines the interior surface of the bottle to destroy mold, bacteria, viruses, and pathogens.
Due to this process, your bottle will never smell moldy, so you never have to worry about keeping your bottle clean.
CrazyCap Pro uses a deep UV light spectrum (in the range of 278nm) to disinfect your water and bottle.
This spectrum of light is proven to have maximum disinfection capabilities.
Thanks to the recent development in UV LED technology, this special spectrum of light can now be produced without using toxic mercury.
When the UVC light enters the microbial cell and destroys the active core, i.e., nucleic acids, these cells will no longer be viable.
Eventually, these dead cells convert into fundamental constituents such as CO₂, water, and trace elements (nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorous, sulfur, etc.)
CrazyCap Pro's deep UV water purification is effective against bacteria, viruses, and pathogens.
It prevents a wide range of waterborne illness by effectively killing 99.999% of germs from questionable water sources.
CrazyCap Pro does not remove particulate matter and/or chemicals (such as fluoride/chlorine) from water.
CrazyCap Pro purifies 50 to 60 litres of water on one charge.
The deep UV LED CrazyCap Pro uses is 278nm, while the wavelength of visible light ranges from 400nm to 700nm.
Therefore, the true brightness of the light is not easily visible to the human eye.
The best way to see the deep UV light is through scattering. Point the deep UV light onto white printer paper in the dark room to see the intensity of the deep UV.
CAUTION: Please avoid looking directly into the UV light beam.
No, CrazyCap Pro doesn’t remove chemicals from water.
A traditional charcoal filter is needed to remove chemicals from water.
However, CrazyCap Pro sterilizes your water and bottle up to 99.999%, killing bacteria, viruses, and pathogens that might be present.
CrazyCap Pro is 99.999% effective in sterilising the water, as long as it’s transparent and free from particulate matter.
Please note: CrazyCap Pro is not a filter.
We always recommend using Crazy Mode when using water from questionable sources.
Our caps were designed with a low power UV-C LED.
Accidental exposure must not exceed 30 minutes per day, but strongly recommend avoiding direct exposure to the eyes at all times.
No, the liquid should be clear. The UV light cannot pass through turbid (non-transparent) liquid.
Yes, CrazyCap Pro is an IPX7 certified waterproof cap.
Product care
When using it for the first time, we recommend washing your bottle with soap water.
After that, the deep UV-C light activates in self-clean mode automatically, shining in the interior surface of the bottle to destroy mold, bacteria, viruses, and pathogens.
This process sterilises your bottle and keeps it mold and smell free, so you never have to worry about cleaning your bottle.
The CrazyCap Pro is completely waterproof, so you can either wash the cap with mild soap and water, or clean it with alcohol wipes.
Please note: The CrazyCap Pro is not dishwasher safe.
For this, we recommend activating the cap before putting it on the bottle mouth and shining the mouth surface for at least 30-40 seconds, or activating normal mode (60 secs) to disinfect this portion of the bottle.
Once this is complete, screw the cap on the bottle and sanitise your water in Normal or Crazy mode, depending on the water source.

CrazyCap fits 9oz, 12oz, 17oz, and 25oz cola-style bottles. CrazyCap does not fit 25oz bottles for brands other than CrazyCap.
CrazyCap fits the 15oz bottle of S’ip by S’well. The size of the cap is 34mm in diameter (measured at the bottom where it seals the bottle neck).
Yes, CrazyCap fits the 500 ml CrazyCap bottle and is also compatible with other 500 ml bottle brands.
However, CrazyCap Pro is only compatible with the CrazyCap 740 ml bottle.
CrazyCap is compatible with the majority of cola-style bottle brands.
The most popular brands include MIRA, Simple Modern, Aorin, S’Well, Manna, HoneyHolly, BonBon, LiveLifeLong, Inosu, SunSella, Sportsneer, Chilly's, as well as many others.
CrazyCap is also compatible with S'ip by S'well bottles.
Try changing the gasket, aka the “O” ring, and this should resolve the issue. If you are still experiencing an issue, please reach out to our support team.
No, we do not recommend keeping the CrazyCap Pro or bottle in the refrigerator.
Our bottles are double-wall, vacuum insulated, stainless steel bottles. It will keep your water cold for 24 hrs and hot for 12 hrs.
If the bottle is filled with room temperature water and placed in the fridge, it will have no impact on the water temperature. The double-wall vacuum insulation in the bottle will not allow cold air to cool the water.
The twin/dual pack comes with 2 chargers; one for each unit.
